Creative Hope Studios is a renowned organization that harnesses the power of hip-hop culture and creative arts to engage and inspire youth in the juvenile justice system and schools that serve at-risk students. Founded by a team of dedicated music professionals, juvenile justice trainers and community activists, Creative Hope Studios aims to empower young individuals by providing them with a platform for self-expression, personal growth, and positive change.

Through their innovative programs and initiatives, Creative Hope Studios utilizes various elements of hip-hop culture, including music, dance, art, storytelling, and multimedia, to create transformative experiences for at -risk youth. By combining artistic expression with mentorship and community engagement, they strive to uplift and empower young people, particularly those in the juvenile justice system or living in underserved communities.

Creative Hope Studios has a strong focus on using music and the arts as tools for healing, personal development, and social impact. Their programs often incorporate music therapy, workshops, performances, and collaborative projects to engage youth and promote positive outcomes.

Our Team

TJ. Griffin

DDAP, BDAP, PCB training provider

TJ Griffin is a youth mentor, program provider, national trainer and the founder of The Vision Program which provides programs, curriculum and workshops for at-risk youth predominately in the Juvenile Justice system. TJ is also an accredited trainer in Juvenile Justice providing training opportunites for youth-care workers and support staff, addiction counselors, judges and probation officers. In 2018 TJ spoke on the TEDx platform where he talked about the effects environments have on a child’s belief system , titled “The Paper Plane Effect” TJ is also an actor and recently starred in the independent faith-based film “CHOICES “based on the true story of speaker and author Ron James. TJ has been featured in many local and national publications such as SUCCESS magazine for his work with at-risk youth.

Before working in juvenile justice TJ was a recording artist manager and booking agent in the music business and has worked with the likes of mega film director Zack Snyder, NORE, Armageddon, Queen, Fat Joe, and rapper-actor ICE T.

Jose Rios

Jose “FLX SOUNDZ” Rios is a professional music producer and engineer with over 15 years of experience working in the music industry. Jose has created catalog of music producing for recording artist, major television shows, film and television networks such as BRAVO and HuLu.

Jose is also a Hip-Hop culture and music educator and the founder of the “Dream Load” program which is a series of music programs and workshops that teach audio production, engineering, recording and business aspects of the music industry for at risk and court adjudicated youth.

Corey Oatman

Corey Oatman is a recording artist, song writer and Juvenile Justice trainer. Corey has written songs for recording artists in different genres and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Creative Hope Studios. Corey had trained dozens of staff, teachers and students across the country in audio production and recording.
